This is where we will keep you informed of up and coming tournaments.
We have a busy time approaching as far as tournaments are concerned, first we have a group of bowlers travelling to Hull for the peewee tournament we certainly wish them luck in a tournament where we have done well in the past.
The next is a tournament on 14th June that concerns you all if you want to have a shot at becoming our Bowler, Achiever or Rookie of the year for 2007/2008. 27 of you have been selected to take part click this link for more information, I will contact you all before the tournament to see if you wish to take part and to explain how the day will go.
This takes us on to the really special day for our club, we are 10 years old and as a celebration we are holding a invitational tournament to include our greatest bowlers from the past. It is a trios round robin with representative teams from all the clubs 10 years, you can find all the bowlers in our history section of the website but here are the teams with a little info on each of them;
1998
James Stewart the bowler who made the biggest impression on the trials day at the very birth of the club.
Leo Payne bowled with James and was one of our great early Junior Scratch Tour bowlers.
Daniel King bowled with Leo and James to many exceptional league victories.
1999
Rachel Benton our highest average ever girl and a member of the junior team England academy
Chris Ward another stalwart of our early Junior Scratch Tour team
Neil Baker still highest average bowler ever and junior county champion
2000
Sam Shelsher our under 12 representative in the Millenium tournament after a 197 scratch in qualifying
Mark Shelsher a truly great tournament bowler and Junior Scratch Tour regular
Sean Ives a really exciting bowler another J S T regular
2001
Had problems finding ex juniors for this year so club officials and instructors past and present are representing this year
2002
Danny Cotton original member of Team Nemesis our greatest ever club league team
James Cotton as above and much more
Chris Cotton as above only recently left jun ior bowling and moved on to adult leagues
2003
Emily Murphy was with us then had a break but bowling in our present league better than ever
Daniel Murphy One of our present league high rollers who was with us in 2003 as a little bowler
Peter Wilkes one of our truly great JST bowlers and much more
Joe Wilkes as his brother only just left junior bowling
2004
Lisa Evers terrific prospect holds most of our present girls house records
Stephen Pointer amazing talent too many successes to list
Kyle Davies bowled with Stephen in the league and together dominating RAF Marham adult leagues
2005
Carla Jane Allen with us for one great year JST bowler and soon to become an instructor
Hannah Lambert long time club stalwart with many high tournament placings
John Boyson another long time member on the verge of becoming a great bowler
2006
Adam Mills still bowling junior league as well as lighting up the adult trios as a member of the all conquering Jaguars
Ben Mills One of our only two Junior Nationals gold medal holders
Ed Benton our othe Junior Nationals gold medal holder probably the hardest thing to win in junior bowling
Ben Howes up and coming heading for greatness
2007
Sasha Bruce fast improving present member on the verge of a big move upwards
Stephen Bush top of the present club ranking list rolling some high scores
Matthew Major very fast improving present member flying up the club rankings
The tournament format is as below teams will draw a number 1 to 10 and we will get down to murdering some pins
